The justification for this is because the pole and wires charges are pass through charges and are actually sent over by Centerpoint Energy who owns the pole and wires. Trickster simply passes these charges through from Centerpoint Energy. This explanation makes sense but the problem is that most Kingwood electric companies include all charges in their advertised electric rate. By leaving off the TDSP charges from the advertised electric rate a Houston area electricity provider is becoming a little misleading since most providers choose to include these.
